What are the Office Hours?

Our office receptionists hours are Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm continuously.
Telephone support lines are open Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm only.

What documents can your agency obtain an Apostille on?

We can only accept documents which are of California origin. This means California-issued Birth, Marriage, Death and Divorce documents, as well as documents which have been Notarized by a California Notary Public. If you document is from another state or country, we cannot accept it.

Do I need an appointment?

Simply come to one of our drop-off locations or mail/Fedex your documents to us. No appointment necessary.

Can you review my document before I send it to you?

Yes, we highly recommend you call us, to discuss what document(s) you will desire the Apostille for, and to obtain a pre-clearance, to avoid loss of time if your documents would be rejected.

Why should my documents be ||Pre-Cleared||?

Not all documents can be accepted for an Apostille. Speaking to a representative by telephone will allow us to determine if the Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate or other document you have will be approved for the Apostille process. When you call our office, please have the document in hand, as our representative will be asking specific questions about what is written on the certificates.

Do I need to come in person to your office?

You do not need to come to our agency, if you live far or are unable to travel. Anyone can bring the documents to our agency for you, or you can even send your documents via mail. We suggest FedEx, DHL or UPS for security purposes, always get a tracking number.


Will the Apostille be completed while I wait at the agency office?

It takes a minimum of 24 hours for the to complete the Apostille issuing process. Please be sure you don’t wait until the last minute to submit your documents.

Can I submit a photocopy of my Birth Certificate?

We must be given the original document, so a photocopy is not acceptable. If you submit a Birth Certificate, it must the County-issued pink color document with blue, scrolled borders.

What forms of payment is acceptable?

We accept cash, money orders, certified bank checks, credit cards and checks. If you make payment with a personal or business check, there may be a 7 business day hold time for clearing of funds. For faster processing time please pay online with a credit card.

Can the agency translate my documents?

Yes, we offer translating services for numerous languages.

Can the Apostille documents be shipped by Fedex to Mexico (or other countries)?

Yes! We are happy to arrange for FedEx, UPS, DHL shipping of the completed certifications to virtually any country around the world at additional cost. Please see the Authentication Request form for shipping prices.
